The last few titanium wedding bands we’ve had weren’t great so I decided to get us some silicone rings. They just so happen to look like tires. I swear it's totally a coincidence.

Next time, try not to wait 11 years to replace your tires!

I f my tires were made out of titanium I’d hope to get a few extra years out of them.

My wife got me a tungsten band a couple years ago.  It’s a bit heavy and took some getting used to but I love it.  I had a white gold band from when we got married and it had worn nearly through after 10 years so we changed to this.

I got married just as the silicone rings were getting popular a few years ago . My wife had mine out of a piece of carbon fiber from one of the Mark Webber era RedBull F1 cars... Everyone asks if it’s a silicone ring.

A couple of months ago, I forgot my wedding band when I left for Houston. I was so out of sorts that I went down and bought a silicone band just to have something there.

I’ve broken two rings and lost one, and he's broken one. Plus, I seem to have a reaction to wearing metal rings. I'm hoping these end up better than the metal ones.

I have a silicone ring I wear all summer because I’m always afraid of losing my nice ring while wakeboarding / waterskiing/ etc and it also doesn’t make my finger hurt mountain biking. I’m also much more likely to have my hands deep into an engine bay in warmer weather, so the silicone is a good choice.

Wow. My ring is a four-band puzzle ring, so the bands are relatively thin. Even so, I’m still wearing the same ring after 18 years!

I react to nickle, so I have to be careful about my watches. I had a stainless steel Fossil watch for a while. I figured out it wasn’t stainless steel when my wrist turned green and I got a rash. The same thing happens with the clasps on a lot of the leather bands. I finally gave up on those. Now I wear a smart watch with a silicone band and stainless clasp.

I had a tungsten carbide, lost it, got a new one, then left it in another county. The Airbnb host mailed it back but I stopped wearing it because I take it off so often and I saw what happened to Jimmy Fallon’s finger after the ring got caught on a counter. He almost had to have it removed.
